Webinar Description: People transitioning from nursing homes have financial needs immediately upon discharge. This webinar will provide information about how to use Medicaid Community Budgeting for individuals who are preparing to discharge. It will also cover how to reduce or eliminate a Medicaid spenddown for individuals who are transitioning from a nursing home using a Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) plan. These tools can be used to increase the amount of money a person will have to purchase necessary goods and services upon discharge.
